Only the foolhardy, or very rich, would go travelling without any sort of kit to keep them going. Since my bike has enough grunt in it to take a substantial amount of weight, I am loading it up as much as I can so that I can stay on-the-road, comfortably and safely (maximising the fun factor), for as long as possible without making further purchases.
Here is a pretty comprehensive breakdown of the kit I shall be using.
[The Snoopy bag has been an ever present travel companion since I was a kid. Oh boy did I feel grown up when I had my very own toiletries bag!]

Bondage Tape - and know...it isn't what you are thinking! It's self-binding properties with the lack of a sticky residue make it the perfect material for quickly adhering one thing to another or making quick repairs.
Knowing the weights of items allows me to change their location on the bike, if I travel 'light' for a while, but still maintain some sort of overall balance.
