Well this turned out to be an unexpected development for Transmissions.Center - which also means it turned out to be an unexpected interesting story...but that is a blog in and of itself. The bite size is:

•Plan A for storing the motorbike, 2 cars and half of my belongings got sold without my being informed

•With 2 weeks before the family home was to be vacated an alternative to Plan A was required

-The alternative actually ended up spanning 4 friend's places and 3 counties...a better plan was preferable

•The search for a garage began...missed out on one seemingly ideal one...checked out another which didn't actually cut it...then, the heavens smiled kindly downwards and presented THE PERFECT OPTION!

[Almost 30sqm of inside space with so much potential. 17.5sqm of private driveway...all in a super-safe location and only 500m from a friend's place where I can stay for a while]

[A great space where I can store all of my things and get some work done on the bike, blogs, vlogs and reviews...if I was allowed to sleep there I'd pretty much happily make it home]


With the establishment of a Base Camp UK, I now have greater freedom in terms of my returns from Europe to England. A restriction of my insurance is that every 90days I have to vacate the continent and be back in Blighty. I can immediately go back to the EU (hmmm just wondering what Brexit will do to all of this), but now, with this ManCave, I might as well take the opportunity to stick around for a bit longer...catch up with friends and tour Britain over an extended period of time.

A bonus is that instead of just chucking, or charitying (red squiggly lines indicate that to be a new word), a whole bunch of items, I now have brought myself some time to carry on selling and probably end up earning enough to cover 2 months worth of rent.
