Trial Tour

With so much planning and dreaming done in 2015 & 2016 about what it might be like (and how it could be undertaken), to go touring, it became obvious that before I dove headlong into the abyss of living on-the-road I would require at least a trial introduction:

•What if I didn't enjoy it?

•What if I couldn't do it?

•Can budgets really be adhered to and are they accurate?

•Does the selected kit actually function as intended?

•Is this the life, for now at least, for me?

Lots of questions requiring answers. Now that the Test Tour has been completed I am pleased to announce that it was all mostly positive. So...bring on Europe.

IMAGES:

The Slide Show (available for the Test Tour by the end of June) contains all the Best Pics from the tour...but...unfortunately it does not display the image's associated infotainment labels.

The All Images Galleries contain every photo taken on a particular day. They are captioned with a brief explanation for an extra bit of infotainment and to provide more of a Diary for the Day.

The Best Pics Galleries have a select maximum of 20 photos, which have been enhanced a bit for use on Social Media accounts. They are a good representation of the day as a whole, and contain pictures which cover as many of the Topics & Subjects of interest to Transmissions.Center as possible.

If you are on a mobile phone, the viewing galleries have a limitation. Seeing the photos is best holding your device vertically, but most of the captions require it being held horizontally - best of both requires constant flipping...don't get a headache!

A lesson learned from the Test Tour:

Don't take so many photos!!! A real joy of digital photography is that each image is free - gone are the days of processing a film at a small fortune. Unfortunately, that leaves one a little shutter-happy...and I can't seem to bring myself to delete any. So, be more discerning with what I capture - that is a mission for Europe.
